Heritage School of Centro Lucio Costa
The new organizational design of the Heritage School of Centro Lucio Costa, a special unit of Iphan - Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional, consists of three linked areas: Iphan Professional Master Degree, the Corporate Capacity Building and the Regional Heritage Management Training Centre. Iphan Professional Master Degree will prioritize applied research focused on the institutional mission of Iphan, while the Corporate Capacity Building, focused on training actions aimed exclusively at its staff, will intend to provide the civil servants with the necessary technical, administrative and legal knowledge to carry out technical and administrative work. The Regional Heritage Management Training Centre, a UNESCO Category 2 Centre, has the mission of expanding the ability to manage the world's cultural and natural heritage in its regional scope.
